Department of Travel Management

This department aims at cultivating travel management trainees with professional know-how skill and positive service travel attitude which will create high level of travel management professionals. Courses are divided into two groups: hotel management and leisure/recreation industry development. To reach the  goal of full employment after graduation, the schoolcombines job training within the travel industry, while promoting the students desire to obtain relevantprofessional tour guide/tour leader licenses along with English and Japanese language proficiency. Students are advised to seek employment in tourism, exhibition management, gaming, flight service, airline ground personnel and hotel industries.

A bachelor degree program in cruise management encourages students to obtain qualification certificates inleisure tourism and gaming dealer fields. In addition, they are also advised to obtain certificates of a Chinese speaking and English speaking tour guide and/or tour leader, certificates of international gaming, and certificates of exhibition personnel.

1.Instructors are responsible for student counseling each semester. The next step will he assisting them to obtain certificates to increase their ability of competition in job market.

2.The goal of teaching is coordination with tourism trends, enhances students’ professional skill; advises are provided for students to obtain qualification certificates as tour guide, tour leader, flight computerized reservation system and business exhibition so as to provide students ability of competition.

3.By engaging with friendly related industries established in and off campus, through career planning seminars, business visits, and by inviting industry executives to speak, efforts are made to create an ideal environment for students to achieve their goal of employment upon graduation.
